A used oil marketer is not included in the term
used oil handler.
A used oil marketer is one who directs a shipment of
off-specification used oil to a used oil burner, or claims the used
oil to be burned for energy recovery meets the used oil
specifications.
Used oil marketers should register using the
Notification of Regulated Waste Activity Form (EPA8700-12) and
the TCEQ's
Registration for Used Oil Handler and/or Used Oil Filter Handlers
Form (TCEQ-10062). This form must be submitted with the Core Data
Form (TCEQ-10400).
There are no reporting requirements for used oil marketers.
