TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $660,146

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $253,396 against 28 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: three air quality, two industrial hazardous waste, one multimedia, one municipal solid waste, three municipal wastewater discharge, eight petroleum storage tank, six public water system, and four water quality.

A default order was issued in the following enforcement category: one petroleum storage tank.

In addition, on March 21, March 28, and April 11, the executive director approved a total of 144 penalties, totaling $406,750.
