San Antonio River

About the Advisory Group
This voluntary group advises and comments to the TCEQ on its
project to improve water quality in the upper San Antonio River.
The San Antonio River is one of several bodies of water being
addressed under a TMDL project to improve water quality in the San
Antonio, Guadalupe, and Brazos river basin. Committee members
represent government, permitted facilities, agriculture, business,
environmental, and community interests in the watershed.
This group advises the TCEQ about its TMDL work for the Upper
San Antonio River, Segment 1911. The
San Antonio River Authority 
is working with the TCEQ on this project.
James Miertschin and Associates is the primary contractor for
developing the TMDL.
