Colorado River Below
E.V. Spence Reservoir
|
About the Committee
This voluntary group provides advice and comment to the TCEQ on
its project to improve water quality in the Colorado River below
E.V. Spence Reservoir. This segment of the Colorado River is one of
two segments being addressed under a TMDL project for dissolved
solids in the Colorado River Below E.V. Spence Reservoir and
Petronila Creek. The TCEQ worked with interested stakeholders to
form a group that has balanced representation for government,
permitted facilities, agriculture, business, environmental, and
community interests in the Houston Ship Channel watershed. Meetings
of the stakeholder group are open to all interested parties.
