This advisory group will assist the TCEQ
staff in determining how to calculate the pollution control use
percentage for categories of equipment in Part B of the Equipment
and Categories List, which is part of the Tax Relief for Pollution
Control Property program.
About the Group
Members of this advisory group will evaluate the items in Part B of the Equipment and
Categories List (ECL)–in
particular, categories B-8 (heat recovery steam generators) and
B-10 (enhanced steam turbine systems)–to determine the
appropriate pollution control use percentages, if any. The outcome,
if any, will be submitted as a recommendation to the TCEQ Executive
Director. If the Executive Director approves the recommendation, it
will be incorporated into the
program document (PDF), (Help with PDF), the next time the rules
that affect the ECL are updated.
List of Members
Members participating in this group will consist of:
- TCEQ staff
- use-determination applicants from whom the TCEQ Executive
Director has active applications or current appeals under Part B,
B-8 or B-10,
- all tax appraisal districts affected by the pending
applications and appeals under Part B, B-8 or B-10,
- consultants for the affected appraisal districts and
applicants, and
- citizen groups.
Meeting Schedule
Two meetings are scheduled at the TCEQ Complex (see a
