Each year, the participating volunteers in TCEQ's
Texas EnviroMentor
Program gather to discuss their work and hear from TCEQ
staff.
EnviroMentors are qualified professionals with technical or
legal expertise on environmental issues who are matched with small
businesses and local governments to help them comply with state
environmental rules. The program is coordinated by the Small Business
and Local Government Assistance section.
All current EnviroMentors are invited to attend.
The meeting is usually held at the annual Environmental Trade Fair and Conference.
For information about becoming an EnviroMentor, read the
brochure Volunteer to Lend a Helping Hand as an EnviroMentor
(GI-292).
