The Environmental Performance Partnership (EPP) advisory
group supported the Clean
Texas Program. It's mission was to guide and support the Clean
Texas program. EPP
stakeholder-members collaborated to establish Clean Texas value and
credibility while encouraging superior environmental performance
and sustainability.
Changes for the Group
The EPP has been
dissolved. However, its mission is now supported by the Pollution
Prevention Advisory Committee (PPAC),
which advises the TCEQ on
all matters involving pollution prevention.
Membership Changes
With the EPP group
dissolved, those interested are now encouraged to participate on
the PPAC.
Nominations to the PPAC are
being accepted now through January 18, 2008. For more
information, call 512-239-3100, or send an e-mail
(ppc@tceq.state.tx.us) with “PPAC” in the subject
line.
Strategy Statement
The EPP was
committed to advancing environmental excellence and innovation
through participation in Clean Texas by:
- promoting partnerships within TCEQ
divisions in support of EPP
initiatives,
- establishing performance indicators,
- developing outreach plans,
- identifying regulatory incentives, performance-based regulatory
opportunities, and non-regulatory membership benefits,
- developing a means for two-way communications for members on
emerging and regulatory issues, and
- encouraging the establishment of environmental management
systems.
